This privacy policy explains how Event Support Team Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), which operates the parktec parking platform, collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit parktec.co.uk, get in touch with us, or use the parktec platform.
We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Event Support Team Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 09025788), with its registered office at Fulford House, Newbold Terrace, Leamington Spa, CV32 4EA. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZB3384249.
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you fill in our enquiry form or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, organisation, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
When you use our on-site assistant. If you ask a question through the assistant on parktec.co.uk, we process the text of your question so we can answer it.
When the parktec platform is used. Where a venue uses parktec to manage its parking, the platform may process information such as vehicle registration numbers, booking details and the contact details of people booking parking. Where our staff use the parktec gate apps, the apps may also process sign-on details and location information in order to manage parking on event days.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on parktec.co.uk.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or demonstration you ask for.
- To provide, operate and support the parktec platform for venues and their visitors.
- To keep our website and platform secure and working properly.

- Trusted service providers who help us run parktec, including hosting, email delivery and the assistant feature. These providers act on our instructions and only process data to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as the law requires. Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards. Operational records on the platform are kept in line with each venue's needs and our legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure, UK-based hosting and access controls. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to deal quickly with any issues.
Where your data is held
Your information is primarily stored and processed in the United Kingdom. Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by law.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. parktec is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children.
