What it does

Everything from on-sale to the last scan

One checkout, one console and one gate, built by the team that runs event parking every weekend.

One checkout for tickets and parking

Customers choose their tickets and their parking in a single basket and pay once. Each ticket type and parking slot has its own capacity, so nothing is oversold.

  • Several ticket types per event, such as adult, child and family, each with its own price, capacity and order limit
  • Group tickets that admit several people on one pass
  • Parking sold by arrival slot, each slot with its own price and capacity
  • Drive-in events sold per vehicle, with no separate parking step
  • A booking fee you set from 0 to 30%, and optional cover for your customers, each shown as its own line

Built for on-sale day

Big announcements bring a rush, so the checkout opens on time and holds its limits. In a September 2026 load test it served 25,000 simulated customers over ten minutes with no errors.

  • Timed on-sale that opens to the second, with early orders refused
  • A priority hour before general sale, unlocked by your private code
  • Prices that step up to a final price at a set time, or at the flick of a switch
  • Percentage discount codes, limited by event, dates and number of uses
  • Stock held for open checkouts, so a rush cannot oversell
  • Pause or reopen sales from your console at any time

Inside your website, in your colours

The checkout drops into your own website with one line of code and takes on your colours, fonts and logo. Your customer books and pays without leaving your site.

  • Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, as switched on in your Stripe account
  • Runs only on the websites approved for your account
  • Optional booking notes and required tick boxes before payment, saved on each order
  • Optional purchase tracking for your Meta ads

Tickets in the wallet, details by text

Every order gets a confirmation email with one QR pass per ticket and a text with the order link. Passes carry your event name and your brand colours.

  • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes for entry tickets
  • A text giving each car its car park colour, gate and arrival slot
  • The number plate is the parking pass, so there is nothing to print
  • Parking customers can change their plate, or move to a slot at the same price or less, from their order page

Scanned at the gate, signal or not

Rugged Zebra handhelds check every ticket live while there is signal, and hold the full ticket list so they keep deciding on the device when there is none. The same offline design was proven at the Worcester Show in August 2026.

  • Clear green ADMIT, amber ALREADY USED and red NOT VALID results
  • Refunded tickets show as DO NOT ADMIT
  • Group tickets show how many people to let in
  • Scanners set up with a set-up code or PIN, and moved between lanes without reinstalling
  • Where your event uses the parktec gate, every paid car goes straight onto the gate list

Traffic planned before the first car arrives

Each car is given a car park, gate and route based on the postcode it travels from, and moves to the next car park when one fills. Your traffic page shows where bookings come from as they sell.

  • Maps of where bookings travel from, by postcode district
  • Likely approach roads, cars per arrival slot and cars per hour
  • Planning sliders to model bigger crowds
  • Only postcode districts are sent to mapping services, never names or full postcodes

Your team in control on the day

One console covers sales, customers and the gate, so everyone sees the same live picture.

  • Live control room showing tickets and cars admitted per lane, refusals and scanner status
  • Live sales dashboard, reports, order search and CSV export
  • Optional sales email each morning
  • Email and text messages to the groups you choose, with a test email to yourself first
  • A two-way inbox where customer texts and emails are matched to their booking
  • AI-drafted replies that a team member checks, edits and sends

Refunds stay in your hands

Nothing is refunded automatically. Every refund is pressed by a person, normally an admin in your team, and the money goes back from your own Stripe account.

  • Customers with cancellation cover can ask to cancel before your cut-off, and you approve or decline
  • Anyone else can message you, and your team decides
  • Complimentary tickets and parking issued by your admins, counted against capacity
  • Admin-only controls for refunds, complimentary orders and sale status

Set up with you, not left to you

The parktec team builds your events, links your Stripe account and approves your website for the checkout. Your staff sign in, including with Google, and can be limited to the events they work.

  • Events, ticket types and car parks set up by our team
  • Your own Stripe account linked for you
  • Servers and databases hosted in London
  • Database locked down with row level security
